Phase two open for feedback until 19 Jul 2019

How can we enable Accredited Employers to improve performance?

Accredited Employers have told us they want to drive change and improvement, tell us what could this look like.

In the enhanced Accredited Employer Programme (AEP), there will be a system of continuous improvement. A robust performance system will ensure Accredited Employers (AEs) are held accountable for meeting their obligations to the programme.

To be the best of the best, AEs will need to be continually looking at their performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. AEs have told us they want the ability to affect change so AEs will own the identification and implementation of improvements to health, safety and wellbeing of their people and claims management, injury prevention and rehabilitation. We will need evidence of commitment and improvement to ensure their continued participation in AEP.

Evidence of improvement will include identifying how you intend to get from where you are now to where you want be e.g. improvement goals and initiatives.  We’d also expect to see evidence of worker participation in the development of improvement plans.

We will work with AEs and provide guidance on continuous improvement and share expertise in injury and claims management.
